Aircraft Integration Engineer

Position Description:

Provide technical expertise and oversight of ASE systems installed on SEMA aircraft.

Manage SEMA development and integration efforts across partner organizations.

Required Skills:

  • Must have requisite experience to review electrical schematics and ensure proper design and integration, compliant with airworthiness requirements.

  • Experience with aircraft integration test methods to verify proper operation of ASE systems,

including EO/IR/RF warning systems and ALE-47 CMDS.

  • Requires an active Secret Clearance

  • Candidates must have the ability to work independently.

Education & Experience: Bachelor Degree + 15 years of experience

QuantiTech is currently seeking a Propulsion Integration Engineer to support our customer in Huntsville, AL. Responsibilities Duties will include, but are not limited to: * Serves as a Propulsion Integration Engineer for the ATE PO and in support of the FLRAA PO. * Supports the planning and execution of electrical, mechanical, and software engineering activities in support of the integration of engines into FLRAA proposed platforms. * Supports the coordination, development, review, and approval of analyses and trade studies related to the integration of the engine into host plat forms. * Provide status to IPT and program leadership as required. * Support various technical and program management effort s, as directed related to the integration of the engines. Coordinates and facilitates air frame OEM and engine OEM technical interactions and exchanges. * Coordinates with the ATE PO for propulsion SME. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: * Must possess an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigation * Bachelor's Degree * 10+ years of relevant work/ job experience * Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems, including cockpit, propulsion and drive systems, flight control and hydraulic systems, and vehicle health and usage monitoring systems. * Familiarity with principles of gas turbine engine operation and engine and engine control system integration. * Knowledge of and experience with the development, airworthiness qualification, integration, system level qualification, reliability and maintainability, fielding, and sustainment of engines, engine subsystems, or LRUs for Army aircraft. * Experience in Program Management, knowledge of contract actions/ SOWs/CDRLs and Integrated Master Schedules. * Ability to manage complex development and engineering projects, work effectively with others, and manage multiple pro jects simultaneously. * Plans, organizes, and directs the work of team s or task forces conducting comprehensive trade studies, technical projects, and problem resolution. * Develop strong working relationships and rapport with subordinate, peer, and management personnel within the home organization and with contemporary organizations and contract partners Applicants for positions which require a US government security clearance must meet eligibility requirements to include US citizenship.
