During this summer internship opportunity you will:
Work on projects that improve aircraft performance, increase operational efficiency of aircraft fleet operators, and improve the travel experience of passengers.
Use your creative and intellectual skills will be used to develop innovative, nonstandard advanced analytical approaches and algorithms for fleet optimization and advanced health management.
Develop data mining approaches reconciling parametric system and flight characteristic data that was collected in the fleet management process.
This is a full time, paid internship for Summer of 2019, located in St. Louis, Missouri. This program is looking for candidates enrolled in a PhD program.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Practical analytics experience using languages such as R, Python, Julia, or Java.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
The ability to work a minimum of 10 weeks (12 weeks preferred) in Summer 2019 in St. Louis, MO.
Technical bachelor's/master's degree, and pursuing a PhD with a dissertation focused on data analytics, machine learning, or artificial intelligence.
