Responsibilities

Serves as an Air Traffic Manager (ATM) at a Level 12 en route facility and is responsible for planning and directing all activities within the facility. Continuously reviews work processes to assure that results meet the agency's mission and the customer's needs, add value to facility services, and are efficiently achieved. Provides training, coaching and guidance to their subordinates and is responsible for team building throughout their facility. The incumbent manages functionally integrated teams of operational and support personnel. Continuously reviews work processes to assure that results meet the agency's mission and the customer's needs, add value to facility services and are efficiently achieved. Interprets measures of organizational performance and provides leadership to the management team on ways to improve organizational performance and meet strategic goals. Provides training, coaching, and guidance to their subordinates and is responsible for team building throughout their facility.

Travel Required

Occasional travel - The job may require travel from time- to-time, but not on a regular basis. The travel may be for training or other work-related duties.

Qualifications

Candidates must show specialized experience. Specialized experience is defined as:
1)Must have held an FAA 2152-FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters position for at least 1 year (52 weeks);

OR
2)Must have been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year (52 weeks) at an ATS facility;

NOTE: An employee who has been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility that is upgraded is considered to meet the qualification requirements of the upgraded position, since he or she has been performing the higher graded work;

OR
3) Must have held a MSS position for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility.

AND
4.In addition to the qualifications listed above for this MSS position, if applying for the MSS-4 position, you must have held the MSS-3 or MSS-4 or an FG-2152-14 or above regional or headquarters position for 1 year (52 weeks) [IAW Qualification Requirements for AT-2152 Terminal and En Route Positions (Revision 1) dated 11/08/99].

The candidate will be responsible for the overall construction of projects and must possess the knowledge, experience and confidence to engage and professionally interact with the design professionals, consultants and client, while successfully directing the overall internal team, and other construction related personnel in planning, coordinating and safely executing the work in accordance with the contract documents, schedule and budget. Construction Project Manager Required Skills:?? Minimum ten (10) years in the industry with at least two (2) ground up completed projects as a Project Manager on Hotel and/or Commercial projects. Construction related Bachelor?s Degree preferred. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, building codes, specifications, regulations and contracts. Ability to present information in public and write correspondence and reports. Computer proficiency Sage 300 and Procore a Plus. Ability to perform calculations necessary to produce or interpret budgets, budget forecasts, discounts, percentages, costs per square foot, and other basic algebraic functions. Ability to create basic formulas for spreadsheet applications. Proficiency with Excel essential. Good oral and written communication skills and must be able to handle stressful situations in a calm matter. Must be able to make decisions and judgments based on situational analysis. Ability to manage all internal and external relationships in a professional manner. Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as other basic computer skills. Construction Project Manager Description: Develops a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of the project following a logical pattern for utilization of resources. Selects and coordinates work of subcontractors working on various phases of the project. Oversees performance of all trade contractors and reviews architectural and engineering drawings to make sure that all specifications and regulations are being followed. Is responsible for proper administration of construction contracts and for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses. Supervises assistant managers, reviews their reports, checks on any reported difficulties, and corrects any safety violations or other reported deficiencies. Tracks and controls construction schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of project within time and monies allocated.
