We are seeking a motivated individual looking to fulfill a dynamic treasury team role at a growing multi-manager hedge fund platform within MSIM.
The treasury professional will support the range of equity, futures, credit and multi-asset hedge fund strategies overseen by MSIM's AIP Hedge Fund team, including the Riverview Omni Master Fund, with product coverage spanning all asset classes and geographies. The Riverview Omni Master Fund is a market neutral, factor constrained Hedge Fund launched in July 2021 and currently manages ~$1.7 Billion AUM. The Fund employs both internal and external risk takers - combining fundamental equity sector specialists with a variety of quantitative trading strategies. In total, the AIP Hedge Fund Team is responsible for $25 billion in assets under management or supervision as of December 31, 2023.
Job Description:
Serve as point of contact between the Fund and its prime brokers/trading counterparties
Maintain integrated risk and margin modeling and collateral / counterparty management process with respect to both listed and OTC multi-asset products
Monitor and optimize the Fund's cash management and overall financing / margin requirements, moving cash and collateral to / from / among cash accounts / PBs / counterparties
Proactive planning of cash and collateral movements, improving risk utilization and providing for financing optimization by counterparty or prime broker
Daily communication with all segments of hedge fund team across business lines: internal trading/risk, sales, compliance, back office, counterparties, and third party vendors
Serve as front office liaison between the fund administrator, operations team, and investment books - assist in trade / cash break reconciliation & resolution
Monitor and track underlying portfolio manager fee arrangements/payouts
Assist in oversight of the Fund's performance estimate process & perform analysis on overall fund PnL
Optimize counterparty selection for internal trading strategies
Monitor & report on ongoing compliance requirements in connection with financing arrangements
Develop tools and reports for counterparty evaluation and broker wallet
Monitor currency exposure and optimize non USD cash balances across brokers
Optimize & automate existing processes
4-7 years of financing experience including fixed income financing on buy or sell side
Strong multi-asset class financing background a plus, including understanding of equity and futures markets
Excellent verbal communication and relationship management skill
Ability to work both independently and be a strong team contributor with proactive drive to deliver results
Outstanding attention to detail and committed to process and related improvements
Flexible, quick learner with the ability to multi-task
Able to lead projects to completion and create process efficiencies
Strong excel skills

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $150,000 at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
