Role: AI Software Engineer

Overview: We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to play a key role in the development and implementation of Generative AI solutions at Blue Yonder. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge projects that leverage Generative AI techniques such as GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks), VAEs (Variational Autoencoders), and other deep learning models to generate synthetic data, create realistic simulations, and drive innovation in supply chain and retail optimization.

What you will do:

• Algorithm Development: Design, develop, and implement Generative AI algorithms and models to solve complex business problems in supply chain management and retail optimization.

• Data Generation: Generate synthetic data and create realistic simulations using Generative AI techniques, ensuring accuracy, diversity, and relevance to real-world scenarios.

• Model Training and Optimization: Train and optimize Generative AI models using large-scale datasets, fine-tuning parameters and architectures to achieve desired performance and fidelity.

• Integration and Deployment: Integrate Generative AI models into Blue Yonder's products and platforms, ensuring seamless operation and compatibility with existing systems and infrastructure.

• Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor the performance of Generative AI models in production environments, analyze results, and iterate on improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

• Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest developments in Generative AI research and techniques and explore new opportunities for applying Generative AI to solve business challenges and drive innovation.

• Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to define requirements, iterate on solutions, and drive projects to completion. Document code, algorithms, and methodologies for reproducibility and knowledge sharing.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

• 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on AI, machine learning, or data science.

• Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts and techniques, with practical experience in developing and implementing Generative AI models and algorithms.

• Knowledge of state-of-the-art generative AI models using LLMs such as LLama, Phi-2, Mixtral, LLava, and GPT4

• Experience with training and evaluating large-scale models on high-performance computing clusters.

• Integrated LLMs, RAG systems, and AI agents with products

• Few years of experience in ML engineering on production systems dealing with training or inference of deep learning models.

• Experience with LLM Ops tooling, LLM Agent APIs, and LLM orchestration frameworks and libraries like LangChain

• Collaborated on modeling techniques to support LLM tuning - prompt engineering etc.,

• Strong understanding of deep learning, natural language processing, and Experience with scaling up generative models and deploying them in production environments.

• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI and machine learning, such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.

• Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The Salary Range for this position is $89,040.00 to $143,896

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
