The MGH & BWH Center for Clinical Data Science (CCDS), is an exciting new undertaking by Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Brigham and Woman's Hospital (BWH) in conjunction with Partners HealthCare, that aims to transform medicine through data science, specifically via the use of machine learning and informatics approaches.
Acting under the supervision of the Executive Director of Operations, and with a second reporting line to the Director of Research (DR), the AI Services Program Manager (ASPM) will be responsible for managing and coordinating the build-up and ongoing delivery of a portfolio of cutting edge services for projects in the machine learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) domain.
The ASPM will be working in a sophisticated and complex environment, engaging and liaising between scientists, clinicians, administrative staff and development teams.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Supporting project definition, milestone development, execution, data analysis, and reporting, in a way that ensures alignment with CCDS reporting and business requirements
Assisting with engaging research staff across MGH and BWH, CCDS staff, internal IT staff, vendors, and any other resource to coordinate and manage updates for all PHS enterprise research projects
Ensuring PHS/CCDS interests are met throughout engagements by defining contracts and ensuring execution
Creating transparency and driving cross team communication among CCDS and relevant users
Leveraging CCDS computing cluster systems for creating quantitative activity reports (e.g., utilization, hardware allocation, etc.) and supporting multiple pricing schemes based on utilization
Coordinating and organizing all of the CCDS enterprise research projects steering them forward
Supporting the liaison and submissions to governance / compliance boards (eg, IRBs, Data Sharing Committee)
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree; quantitative, business or life-science focused is preferred, advanced degree strongly preferred
5 years of working experience in project/program management required, healthcare or academic setting preferred
2 years of team management (including cross functional teams) preferred
Experience in setting up service lines, marketing or finance is a nice to have
Professional working experience with Excel and PowerPoint required, experience with database software / scripting / coding is preferred
Experience using project management tracking systems (MS Project, Confluence, JIRA, etc.) is preferred
A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements, we are willing to review candidates with strong and competitive backgrounds that have a passion for science and technology
