The Opportunity

DataScan is looking for a dedicated engineer to help us build and maintain our latest financial software suite, Audit Intelligence. You will combine your technical skills and knowledge to work with key stakeholders and fellow engineers to deliver features in a fast-paced and growing problem domain.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will participate in analysis, design, coding, and testing. You will collaborate with engineers of varying experience levels, expertise, and backgrounds to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

• Write features and unit tests across our entire technology stack: Microservices, Angular, .NET Core

• Work on gathering data using dbts per reporting needs.

• Demonstrate accountability in the documentation and delivery of work from the first conversation with our Product Team through production deployment.

• Work with teammates to develop reliable, high-quality solutions that help reduce technical debt and future toil.

Your professional profile is:

• 4-6 years of software engineering experience

• Proficient in C# .NET Core

• Experience in Front-end Frameworks like React or Angular

• Effective communication skills both written and verbal, in-person and remote.

• Proven experience in software design, OOD methodologies, and debugging strategies

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines

• Preferred experience with dbt or working with data

• Nice to have - Experience with custom JS frameworks, ASP.NET, Kotlin

We are excited to see additional experience with:

• Distributed systems, concurrency, and asynchronous architecture

• Multi-tenancy architecture and security paradigms

• Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native deployments with AWS

• Engineering resiliency into high volume transactional systems
