We are seeking a skilled and experienced Market Development Analyst to join our team. You will work with dedicated, altruistic and high performing individuals who aim for the best for the future, for society and for BSI.

About the Role:

Working with the Artificial Intelligence Market Development Lead, to investigate, analyse, and track opportunities to deploy AI services to new and existing markets/geographies. The successful candidate will also work in collaboration with the marketing and product management teams to deliver the business unit's growth targets. Due to the nature of the business and geographies of the team this position is homebased with occasional travel to our office(s).

Responsibilities:

• Investigate, analyse and report business opportunities in new industry sectors.

• Contribute to strategy development and business planning.

• Work closely with AI Notified Body team to interpret draft and published regulation/legislation to identify opportunities in new industry sectors.

• Conduct primary and secondary customer research.

• Horizon scanning of AI use cases in different industries, standards and legislation applicability and opportunities for BSI to promote AI services.

• Align with other streams across BSI to ensure there is a coherent strategy for industry sectors.

• Work in collaboration with the marketing and product management teams to develop and execute the business plan to achieve the agreed goals.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Post-graduate experience in a Regulated Industry in one of the following areas: AI data analysis, Strategic Analysis, KPIs & Operational Analysis.

• Hands on experience in market data analysis.

• Knowledge on how to develop strategy options and the supporting KPIs

• Previous experiences in developing and providing analysis outputs on new commercial opportunities.

• Conceptual and analytical thinking, efficiency and results orientation.

• team playing skills and good relationship building skills, both internally and externally, with professional authorities and clients and other stakeholders.
