NOTICE OF VACANCY 504 and Assessment Data Specialist

• Alamogordo High School Date of Notice: April 8, 2024 Non-Exempt Position

• Classified Vacancy #: 30-052 / 11148 Job Snapshot: The 504 and Assessment Data Specialist provides support to the counseling department. The Assessment Data Specialist ensures the effective integration of technology into the curriculum and assessment systems. The Assessment Data Specialist works independently to research, analyze, extract, collate and report information that meets and satisfies the recordkeeping needs of district schools and programs. The Assessment Data Specialist works with APS Technology support Services to support district administrators, building principals, guidance staff, instructional specialists, and individual teachers to ensure system functionality, data accuracy, and data entry compliance.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Associate's Degree preferred or four (4) years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

.. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with teachers, building administrators, directors and other staff.

• Strong knowledge of various computer program platforms: PowerSchool, Visions, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Google Platforms.

• Demonstrated ability to work with changing priorities, regulations, and deadlines.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, take appropriate action, resolve problems using independent judgment and decision-making processes, and bring issues to closure.

• Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and work in an environment with frequent interruptions and competing priorities.

• Demonstrated knowledge of state/federal regulations and accreditation requirements governing public education programs.

• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and organize, prioritize, and follow multiple projects and tasks through to completion with an attention to detail and with accountability for work product.

• Demonstrated ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements.
