Overview:

Atrixon is seeking an AH-64E V6 New Equipment Training Team (NETT) Instructor Pilots for CONUS or OCONUS locations. The NETT Instructors will provide U.S. Army units and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers with the training necessary to operate, maintain, and support the AH-64E V6 and its subversions, including AH-64Ev6.5. As a primary provider of initial and transition training for the AH-64E V6 platform, the NETT Instructor will play a critical role in preparing operators, maintainers, and support personnel for mission success.


This position requires the ability to perform complex tasks independently and with minimal guidance, demonstrating expertise in U.S. Army aviation equipment and training concepts. The NETT Instructor will report to the Task Lead and coordinate closely with government customers to ensure training delivery aligns with program objectives.Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training for operators, maintainers, and Maintenance Test Pilots (MTPs) on the AH-64E V6 platform, including subversions (e.g., V6.5).
  • Serve as a Standardization Pilot (SP), Instructor Pilot (IP), or Instrument Examiner (IE) in the delivery of New Equipment Training (NET) for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers.
  • Validate and execute Aircraft Series Transition Courses (ASTC) in coordination with Government Flight Representatives.
  • Provide instruction and oversight for tactical and operational employment of AH-64E V6 systems.
  • Support the development of Training Support Plans (TSPs) and Programs of Instruction (POIs) for AH-64E V6 transition courses.
  • Collaborate on Spike Non-Line of Sight (NLOS) training and AH-64Ev6.5 Human Factors Events (HFEs).
  • Maintain accurate training documentation
  • Assist in customer-specific mission and tactical training, ensuring alignment with U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE) standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Flight Hours:
    • Minimum 2000 total flight hours (2500 preferred).
    • 300 flight hours in the AH-64 (in accordance with AR 95-20).
    • 1000 hours of Night Vision Device (NVD) experience.
    • 250 required/500 preferred hours of tactical flight experience.
  • Certifications:
    • Instrument Examiner (IE) certification.
    • Instructor Pilot Course (IPC) certification.
    • AH-64Ev6, AH-64Ev4, AH-64Dv14 certifications.
    • Aircraft Series Transition Course (ASTC) certificate.
    • FAA Class 2
  • Experience:
    • Demonstrated proficiency as an SP/IP/IE in the AH-64E V6.
    • Familiarity with Training Support Plans (TSPs) and POIs.
    • Experience supporting Spike NLOS training and HFEs.
    • U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE) instructor experience.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Must be a U.S. citizen.
    • Must hold a Secret clearance (Task Lead requires a Top Secret clearance).
    • Strong knowledge of Army Aviation training concepts, administration, and logistics.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to professionally represent Atrixon to customers.
