Join our Plant Nutrient Group that formulates, stores and distributes crop protection and nutrients through our agricultural retail locations and extensive network.

We are hiring a full-time, year-round Applicator to join our Fremont, OH team. Located in northwest Ohio, our Fremont Farm Center sells dry and liquid fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, insecticides and many custom blends. You would be mixing, hauling, spreading, and applying liquid and dry fertilizer and crop protection by operating our sprayers and spreaders to provide accurate and timely custom application to customer's farm fields. You would be key part of the team as you will be responsible for ensuring correct application rates and proper handling of equipment. You will also be assisting in other areas at the agronomy farm center. Enjoy operating heavy equipment, being outdoors and seeing the impact of your work.

We are willing to train! If you have prior agriculture operating experience and/or if you have been a heavy equipment operator in construction, military or related field we will work to train you on our equipment and procedures.

Position Overview

This position is accountable for mixing, hauling, spreading, and applying liquid and dry fertilizer and farm chemicals to provide accurate and timely custom application for customers; this may include non-farm applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently perform the daily functional activities of the batching operation according to the procedures established to meet production schedules by coordinating with the bagging, bulk loading, and plant operations

  • Understand product label specifications and operational procedures/standards for custom application

  • Deliver a courteous, pleasant and positive attitude in providing extraordinary service to all customers, coworkers and others ensuring open lines of communication.

  • Complete and deliver timely and proper applicator logs, delivery paperwork, field application forms, and other paperwork to appropriate personnel and customers.

  • Assist in regular facility duties, operations duties, and deliveries, as needed, to meet seasonal demands.

  • Has basic skills in an analytical or scientific method or operational process

  • Works within clearly defined standard operations procedures and or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines

  • Works with close supervision

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

  • 0-2 years' relevant experience required

  • Valid driver's license

  • Commercial Applicator's License a plus

  • Commercial Driver's License a plus

Physical Requirements and Working Environment

  • Must be able to stand/sit for an extended period of time

  • Ability to frequently lift/push/pull up to 60 pounds

  • Must be able to climb/stoop/kneel at heights up to 100 feet

  • Works indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures

  • Working conditions could include: dust, fumes, moderate noise and uneven surfaces

  • Exposure to industrial chemicals

  • Daily travel required

The Teller is a critical position within the branch and an important member of the branch team. The Teller provides excellent client service by welcoming new and existing clients of the Bank and assisting them with account transactions and servicing needs. In addition, he/she acts as a resource in identifying and resolving client servicing issues. Tellers, through their conversations with the clients, listen to uncover financial needs and transitions clients to a banker to further assist. Duties assigned include: Primary Teller Functions * Accept and accurately process all financial service transactions * Maintain responsibility for cash drawer and follow proper balancing procedures * Act as a resource to identify and resolve client servicing issues * Listen for clues for Financial Wellness opportunities during client conversations, and then appropriately transition the client(s) to a Banker Build Client Rapport * Provide excellent client service to all KeyBank clients * Where problem resolution is required, take thorough information from the client and get back to them in a timely manner * Ensure a confident tone that reassures the client we will follow up with resolution * Greet and welcome every client as they enter the branch; acknowledge by name, if known * Assist clients in achieving their financial goals and objectives through the use of Financial Wellness tools * Participate in client appreciation events * Address client issues or concerns; engage branch management when needed to provide full solutions for clients * Help create and establish a business relationship between the Banker and the client * Coordinate time between Banker and client for business meetings as necessary * Engage the Lead Teller and or Banker when faced with complex client account issues * Answer the phone within the Branch professionally, promptly, and pleasantly * Participate in post/debrief meetings with the branch team involving clients from the day to better understand specific client needs Risk Management * Ensure compliance with security and audit procedures * Adhere to all applicable policies and procedures Additional Responsibilities * Participate in morning huddles and end of day debriefs * Understand goals and objectives for the branch * Review and maintain knowledge of product guides, fees and policies to stay current on offerings * Provide answers and assistance for client questions/concerns, utilizing resources within the branch REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Teller * High School Diploma, GED or equivalent business experience * 6 months experience in a client service facing role * A minimum of one week cash handling experience * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * General understanding of PC with Windows based applications and calculator * Ability to work branch hours to include weekends and occasional evenings * Physical Requirements: Prolonged Standing (5-8 hours per day), frequent use of hands to manipulate/grasp objects, ability to communicate face to face and on the phone with clients, occasional bending and lifting from floor height, frequent forward reach, frequent lifting of 1 – 10 lbs., occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
