This is a merit hire position. The hourly rate for this position is $29.54 per hour.

Dauphin County Area Agency on Aging is currently accepting applications for the full-time, day shift position of Aging Care Management Supervisor 3 (Director of Services). The Aging Care Management Supervisor 3, Director of Services is responsible to oversee the efficient and effective delivery of Protective services, Care Management services and Intake and Assessment services in the Area Agency on Aging in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. The Aging Care Management Supervisor 3, Director of Services reviews and develops Agency programs and services through the design and implementation of Annual Plans and operational policies and procedures. He/she manages the overall operations of the Agency by providing oversight to the Care Management Supervisor 1 assigned to each area of service. This includes providing training and consultation and reviewing and analyzing case information and reports to support the effective functioning and service delivery within each unit of service.

The Aging Care Management Supervisor 3, Director of Services works with considerable independence under the general supervision of the Area Agency on Aging Administrator 3.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

Five years of experience in public or private social work, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity, and a bachelor's degree which includes or is supplemented by 12 semester hours credit in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, or other related social sciences.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

At the time of hire, a valid driver's license and positive driving record, a favorable criminal background check, child abuse and FBI clearances, as well as favorable references are required. The applicant must provide proof of a valid Pennsylvania driver's license within 60 days from the date of hire.

An alternative form of identification will be accepted if you are not eligible to receive a Pennsylvania driver's license under 67 PA. Code § 83 and driving is not an essential function of the position.
