Emerson is looking for a Agile Engineer who is passionate and enjoys developing code. We're looking for someone that can code and dive into infrastructure as necessary. This person is responsible for the entire software lifecycle.
This position is based on-site on the Emerson Global Headquarters campus.

Focused on learning new ways to do things rather than defending the first way they learned
Alignment on the core values of agile
0-5 years of experience
CS or equivalent or demonstrated technical ability
Can write code
Proficient in at least 1 language
Ability to have a reasonable discussion around Build vs Open Source/Buy of third party dependecies
Emerging skill at understanding tradeoffs between delivery and quality
Understands that technical and abstract topics are hard to communicate and is still figuring out how best to do so
Capable of finishing a story
Capable of contributing to story planning
Effectively communicates context of stories to team
Capable of leading a subset of cards
Can handle common escalation (e.g. system outage) and knows when to ask for help
Has shipped products
Experience in related fields, e.g. customer support or data science
Experience with a functional programming language
Has an interest in the business, e.g. product viability and marketing
