Our focus is always on outcomes and results that connect citizens more effectively with government services.We are seeking an Agile Delivery Manager to join our team supporting our Internal Revenue Service (IRS) client located in New Carrollton MD. Our client wants our staff on site providing support at the IRS facility 3 days a week, Tuesday through Thursday but other 2 days you can work at home! The IRS facility is conveniently located directly across the street from the New Carrollton Metro station!The Delivery Manager will oversee the planning, execution and deployment of software products developed and tested within a 9 week recurring release cycle, using SAFe/Agile methodologies. Work with Product Management team and Scrum Masters to ensure user stories are ready for Program Increment planning phase and development iterations Collaborate with stakeholders and technical personnel external to development teams to align resources and monitor dependencies Ensure technical tasks are added to release and iteration backlogs to support technical debt and IRS Enterprise Lifecycle documentation (i.e., design documentation, user guides); track and monitor progress against these technical tasks Work with Product Management team and Scrum Masters to ensure alignment of work performed to overall Program Increment goals Facilitate mid-iteration and end-of-iteration reporting with Scrum Master and Product Management team Organize and coordinate Demo preparations / presentations and End-of-Iteration reports Ensure Demo readiness and project completeness Support Release Manager and associated candidate deployment activities
Additional Requirements, as per Contract/Client: Ability to obtain and maintain an IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance (Active IRS Moderate Risk MBI clearance is a plus) Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for three (3) years, and be Federal Tax compliant
