Agile Coach/Project Manager

Overview: GovCIO is currently hiring a Agile Coach/Project Manager to direct and deliver a wide range of projects supporting the Air Force BlueSCI network.

This position will be located in San Antonio TX and will be an on-site position. Responsibilities: Creates integrated project plans for contract deliverables and new products in development projects. Reviews, manages and controls status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.

Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with team members and line managers. L ooking for an experienced Project Manager who will be able to help transition and combine existing work practices to move toward the Kanban methodology.

Manages the direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives. Defines requirements and plans project lifecycle deployment. Schedules tasks and coordinates with various team members to accomplish the results.

Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking, analysis and reporting.

Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to the project. Manage and provide oversight on assigned Enterprise, IT projects. Ensure adequate resources are assigned and aligned with service delivery and FOC criteria.

Develop comprehensive project plan for all requirements/projects to include planning, quality control, direction, coordination, deliverables submissions and reviews. Provide weekly status updates to the contract, flight, and team lead. Create, maintain and dispose of task-related records and supporting documentation.

Schedule all meetings that are pertinent to project planning and development Understand agile project management methodologies and traditional project management functions. Develops project scope, backlog, and work schedules according to project requirements. Qualifications: High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience) Required Skills and Experience Current Project Managemenort Professional (PMP) OR Professional in Project Management (PPM) OR Certified Project Director (CPD) and PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) Certification Must have a m inimum 8-9 years of experience managing IT projects Excellent written/verbal communications skills Clearance Required:

Posted Pay Range The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors. Posted Salary Range: USD $115,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr.
