Core Responsibilities

  • The Digital Factory Agile Coach is responsible for functional excellence and building up Agile project delivery capabilities within the digital development organization. The Agile Coach will be responsible for driving DevOps, Lean practices, coaching and mentoring team members within the digital development environment.

  • The Digital Factory Scrum Master supports the team on their understanding of Agile and deliver a product. It is the Scrum Master's role to teach the team agile practices, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments and shield them from external distractions. Scrum Master brings the Product Owner and the team together and helps them understand each other. This individual is also a personal coach for team members and an innovator who constantly seek continuous improvement and builds high performing teams.

  • Build and coach high performing teams.

  • Facilitate the team with knowledge of Agile / Scrum concepts and principles.

  • Provide training to the team on the agile process; training will continue all the time during the project execution on velocity, quality, processes etc.

  • Ensure teams actions are aligned with the project goals / vision.

  • Bring transparency to Business and IT organization about development and grow trust.

  • Identify trade-offs between short and long term benefits to drive shared vision between the team and product owner.

  • Ensure team follows agile processes in each sprint at user story level as per the Definition of Done (DoD). Help the organization and Key stakeholders in adapting the agile mindset.

  • Identify project risks and raise them proactively.

  • Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.

Required Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED And 5+ years of relevant professional experience For Scrum Master (2L)
  • High School Diploma/GED And 7+ years of relevant professional experience For Agile Coach (2H)

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Degree specialization in engineering, information systems or related field is a plus And 3-5 years of relevant professional experience For Scrum Master (2L)
  • Bachelor's Degree Degree specialization in engineering, information systems or related field is a plus And 5-7 years of relevant professional experience For Agile Coach (2H)

Required Work Experience

  • Experienced building Agile capabilities, supporting team development and coaching senior leaders on Agile mindset. Required

  • Experience working closely with Product managers / product owners, tech leads, design leads and scrum masters. Required

  • Actual experience working with business and IT leaders to define and execute organizational change in project delivery, as well as change to mindsets in organizational culture. Required

  • Knowledgeable about various Agile methodologies; Experienced in especially SCRUM and KANBAN. Required

  • Fluency in scrum fundamentals, especially: comfort with facilitation of key ceremonies; Proactively recognize and remove impediments for team; working in cross functional teams; Partner with product owner to prioritize backlog. Required

  • Strong experience in sprint 0 with the ability to convert a waterfall team to using Agile. Required

  • Experience introducing agile to new product teams (design

  • development); not just transforming Waterfall into Agile. Preferred
  • Team Leadership - Experienced in assessing how the team is doing and drive necessary actions to improve

  • Able to develop and foster teamwork and facilitate team dynamics.

  • Cultural / personality fit with agile values (responding to change over following a plan, working software over working pieces, individual and interactions over processes and tools, self-drive to solve problem vs. getting told what to do / delegating).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to build strong customer relationships

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills

  • Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment

Licenses & Certifications

  • Driver's License Required

  • Other: Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) or Certified Scrum Coah (CSC)

  • Upon Hire Preferred

Leads the team through technical design translating UI/UX elements, architecture implementation, and finally launch. Strong communication skills are a must given daily interfaces with key stakeholders, Scrum Master, and dev team.
