COMPENSATION

Hourly Rate: $16 - $18

SUMMARY

Seeking an Individual to perform various duties at an aggregate plant facility including equipment operation, maintenance, and other plant-related tasks. Must be dedicated, willing to learn and wanting to build a career while achieving the highest level of safety standards. This is an entry level laborer position and will consider training the right individual.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow safety rules, regulations, and procedures set forth by MSHA/OSHA/plant.

• Safety performs pre-shift, post-shift inspections/plant inspections and report unsafe equipment conditions to foreman or supervisor.

• Maintain good housekeeping practices on plants and equipment.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Proper PPE attire must be worn at all times.

• Detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly.

• Assist maintenance personnel with plant repairs when needed.

• Ability to inspect all areas of the plant to perform necessary maintenance, repairs, and screen changes.

• General labor duties such as shoveling and sweeping.

• Repair crusher, i.e. liner changes, oil systems, and operations, monitor and change worn parts.

• Operating skid steers.

• Cross train with other positions to maximize abilities within.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• Basic hand tool knowledge.

• MSHA certification preferred.

• Demonstrates a positive, upbeat attitude and energy level and works as a team player.

• High school education or GED equivalent

• Must be able to lift to 10lbs.

• Skid steer/heavy equipment operation preferred.

• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.

• Valid driver's license.
