Job Description:

This position is responsible for Syndication Administration and Processing. Effectively conveys pertinent information to all business stakeholders. Ensures the timely and accurate execution of loan servicing and maintenance activities and analyzing various calculations, such as loan and fee accruals. In addition, this position may assist the team as necessary.

  • Maintain a specific portfolio of customer accounts. Process payments, advances, payoffs, rate changes, and other maintenance related to these transactions. Calculates and processes manual periodic settlements of swinglines and sweep related transactions. Balances accrual, billing and general ledger accounts and systems. Maintains accurate accounting of all syndicated and participated loans.

  • Works with customers, lending regions, internal departments, and other banks/investors to resolve syndication and participation differences, manually recalculating loan histories and splits to investors if needed. Researches issues focusing on agented deals but also including purchased portfolio and system conversion issues.

  • Maintains Agency tasks on DebtX. Organizes and uploads covenant documents, financial statements, etc. to Agency Sites for Investors. Monitors reports to ensure all covenant requirements are met on time. Escalates to Line of Business or Customer for any outstanding items.

  • Assists Syndicated Sales team with funding memo calculations and payoffs for existing deals. Wires funds to investors as part of closings, coordinates incoming investor funds.

  • Monitors adherence to regulatory changes and internal lending and credit policies and makes corrections as necessary.

  • Identifies internal process areas in need of improvement and training needs related to commercial loan systems, regulatory requirements, documentation and credit policies and provides recommendations.

  • Assists in various department projects including system upgrades, conversions and interfaces. Assists with other Loan Servicing functions as needed.

Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.

Job Requirements

College degree or equivalent work experience.
2+ Years experience Reviewing Complex Commercial Loan Documentation
2+ Years Commercial Loan Customer Service Experience

Experience with Syndicated loans in an Agent role preferred

Experience with ACBS transaction processing preferred

Experience with DebtX or SyndTrak preferred

General Ledger Balancing or Bookkeeping experience preferred

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and Outlook

Excellent Math and Reading skills

Superior Communication and Customer Service Skills

Highly Organized

Ability to Multi-tasking, re-prioritize as needed without losing focus on all tasks
