Dynamic and rapidly-growing, OfficeTeam is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join a team. You will take charge of a number of different office support and administrative duties as the Administrative Assistant. Do you embrace the tasks of mail merging, pivot tables, and presentation design? Then we have just the Administrative Assistant position for you. A long term temporary opportunity, this Administrative Assistant opportunity is located in the West Des Moines, Iowa area. Responsibilities

  • Assist other employees with diverse projects

  • Answer telephone calls and return voicemails

  • Organize word processors, files, and faxes

  • Greet and instruct visitors

Requirements

  • Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems

  • General familiarity with email

  • Proven knowledge of database management

  • Experience with data entry

  • Deep understanding of business review documents

  • Wide ranging experience with Microsoft Office

  • Comprehensive knowledge of 10 Key Accounting

  • Well-founded grasp of documentation

  • Good understanding of Microsoft Project

  • Skills in typing 45 - 60 words per minute

  • Expertise in Alpha 8,001 - 10,000 kph

  • Customer service experience

  • Earlier work involving Microsoft Outlook

  • Previous experience working with Microsoft Word

  • Quality experience with Microsoft Excel

  • Practical knowledge of editing

  • At least 1 year of Administrative Assistant experience preferred

  • Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing
