Position Overview

Join our dedicated team as an Aged and Disabled Waiver (ADW) Clinical Review Manager and play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of those we serve. In this vital position, you will lead and inspire a team committed to excellence in service delivery, focusing on both initial assessments and re-evaluations for our Aged and Disabled Waiver programs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the charge in developing, implementing, and maintaining operational guidelines that serve as the foundation for our unparalleled service quality.
  • Provide robust leadership and expert supervision to our team of clinical assessors, fostering an environment of professional growth and excellence.
  • Regularly review performance metrics, employing strategic problem-solving to enhance our deliverables and ensure the continued satisfaction of those we serve.
  • Spearhead inter-rater reliability activities, including observation, to guarantee uniformity and accuracy across all Aged and Disabled Waiver (ADW) assessments.
  • Step in to conduct ADW assessments directly, demonstrating a hands-on approach to leadership and a commitment to our mission.
  • Design and facilitate dynamic training sessions for provider agencies and other stakeholders, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to excel.

Required Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Must have an active, unrestricted RN License in West Virginia, underscoring a commitment to the highest standards of healthcare professionalism.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Supervisory experience, demonstrating a proven track record of leading teams with empathy, clarity, and effectiveness.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience with the West Virginia Aged and Disabled Waiver Program, showcasing deep familiarity with its goals, operations, and impact.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, enriching the role with a solid foundation of nursing knowledge and skills.
  • Experience with the Aged and Disabled Waiver CareConnection© system, enhancing the efficiency and quality of care coordination.
  • Thorough understanding of Pre-Admission Screening and detailed knowledge of Aged and Disabled Waiver policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and excellence in service delivery.
  • Exceptional organizational skills paired with effective and professional written and verbal communication abilities, facilitating clear and impactful interactions and strong leadership experience.
  • Ability to forge and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and mutual respect.
  • Demonstrated capability to make informed and timely decisions, especially under pressure, ensuring the wellbeing of those we serve.
  • Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites software, enabling efficient planning, documentation and communication skills.

Compensation

The compensation for this role is $70,000 to $80,000 annual base salary. Based on our compensation program, an applicant’s position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.
