Afterschool Office Clerk - Part-time Hourly Grow Academy Job Summary: The Grow Public Schools Afterschool Office Clerk will assist the Afterschool leadership team with daily administrative operations of the program, in support of the goals, policies, and procedures developed by the Program Lead and Senior Manager of Programs Improvement.
Reports to: Afterschool Program Site Lead, Grow Public Schools Job Duties: Support the Afterschool Leadership team as the point of contact for community members, future parents, and staff.
Answering questions, ensuring timely and professional communication Assist with student enrollment, including collecting all necessary paperwork and entering information into the student database. Assist in managing the student database, including entering data on an ongoing basis. Support after school leadership team in the maintenance of records and data for required reports Support office team in hosting events such as parent information sessions during student recruitment and open enrollment Assists in facilitating employee recruitment events, and interviews, and is a point of contact during the onboarding process Assist with the preparation and distribution of correspondence, reports, bulletins, and memorandums in relation to assigned projects, and translate documents as required.
Assist with other office duties as needed. Able to take over the classroom if needed in the absence of an activity leader Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to work collaboratively on projects Bilingual in Spanish Computer Literacy (Word, Excel, Basic use of Student database) Education and Experience: High school Diploma plus 2 years of college or school & afterschool experience Bachelor's Degree preferred Knowledge of different educational s
