Rotoflow Aftermarket Sales Lead

POSITION SUMMARY

Rotoflow, An Air Products Business, is a full-service turbomachinery OEM - providing a wide-range of new equipment solutions and aftermarket services to our customers globally in market segments such as industrial gases, petrochemicals, and hydrocarbons. Aftermarket services such as spare parts, repairs, upgrades, field services, engineering evaluations, reliability and performance assessments, troubleshooting, training, remote diagnostics/data monitoring, and shop services are some of the many offerings provided from regional service centers for both Air Products and non-Air Products equipment.

We are seeking an Aftermarket Sales Lead for the Houston aftermarket service facility with responsibility for Americas aftermarket sales. The successful candidate will enjoy:

  • Winning and retaining business, satisfying customers,

  • Developing and growing a world-class service and machinery business from its initiation and seeing the results of candidate's direct efforts through increases sales and profits,

  • A day to day mixture of business development, commercial operations, marketing, and account management responsibilities for aftermarket customers,

  • Collaborating with global Equipment Sales and Plant Support (ESPS) business development managers and sales channel partners on customer accounts to deliver world-class customer service,

  • Working with the Rotoflow new equipment sales team to support Americas new equipment sales opportunities,

  • Spending substantial time out of office developing relationships and communicating our value proposition with a broad variety of internal and external customers and stakeholders who influence purchasing decisions; from Plant Maintenance and Operations, Purchasing, Machinery Specifiers, etc.

  • Working in close support with professionals from the Houston Service Center and Air Products globally to ensure regional customer and market needs are identified and met.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and develop new business, focused on aftermarket service growth and new equipment sales,
  • Successfully develop customer relationships, manage accounts, and ensure customer satisfaction to ensure repeat business,
  • Lead commercial opportunities and ensure proposals exceed customer requirements,
  • Provide regional insight for marketing programs,
  • Close orders and successfully negotiate commercial agreements,
  • Identify unique regional market needs and gaps to help enhance aftermarket capabilities, offerings, and competitive advantage.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Demonstrated commercial success, with an emphasis on technical selling experience,
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills,
  • Technical Degree (BA/BS/BEng) with minimum 5+ years of experience; mechanical engineering background a plus,
  • Detailed knowledge of turbomachinery, accessory systems, and related technologies a plus,
  • Flexible on location depending on experience level, but Houston, TX or Allentown, PA preferred,
  • Travel as needed, but expected to be at least 50% at customer sites,
  • Ability to create, foster, and sustain customer relationships,
  • Strong team focus and ability to work cross functionally and across global teams,
  • Communicate clear direction and priorities for supporting organizations,
  • Goal oriented, self-motivated, with ability to drive success,
  • Excellent creativity, problem solving, and decision-making skills - including an understanding of when to escalate both technical and administrative decisions,
  • Ability to create an environment of trust and consistently exhibit a positive attitude.
