ROLE OVERVIEW

As the Aftermarket Parts Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service and satisfaction. You'll lead a dedicated team to manage and fulfill aftermarket parts orders, ensuring they're shipped accurately and promptly to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Your focus will be on optimizing processes and resources to enhance the overall customer experience. Including improving cost saving on packaging materials and maintaining specified lead times.

RESPONSIBILITIES

§ Mentor: Lead and empower your team to achieve our customer-focused objectives while fostering their professional growth.

Recruit, train, and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance. Conduct quarterly reviews with team members. Implement performance scoreboards to keep teams engaged and aligned with yearly and monthly objectives.

§ Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in parts fulfillment, optimizing processes from picking and packaging to shipping to enhance efficiency and accommodate future growth.

Champion the development of a world-class parts fulfillment team and processes, prioritizing customer satisfaction above all else. Ensure team adherence to procedures, standards, and safety protocols to maintain a high level of service.

§ Inventory: Maintain accurate warehouse parts inventory counts, forecast needs, and drive inventory accuracy initiatives.

§ Budgets: Monitor and manage budgets effectively to support customer-centric operations.

§ Freight Management: Negotiate freight contracts with leading carriers like UPS and FedEx to streamline shipping processes and minimize delays. Collaborate with the Logistics Manager to coordinate orders shipping with hot tubs or in containers.

§ Customer Experience: Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies and fair pricing, enhancing our ability to meet customer demands.

Work closely with the Director of Customer Experience and other departments to develop a comprehensive 5-year growth plan, aligning resources to meet evolving customer needs. Lead Lean initiatives to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and minimize freight/shipping damage, ultimately enhancing the customer experience.

REQUIREMENTS

§ Shipping/Inventory Experience: Demonstrated expertise in inventory control, domestic and international shipping, and handling small parcel products using FedEx and UPS.

Professional experience using bills of lading, customs paperwork, and other shipping documents for both domestic and international exports. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a focus on customer experience with an ability to comprehend and optimize all aspects of the supply chain. Familiarity with warehouse inventory practices and shipping documentation.

§ Proficient Computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

§ Excellent Interpersonal skills: Attention to detail, coupled with a sense of urgency with an ability to supervise, train, and coach team members to drive continuous improvement. Ability to supervise, train, and coach team members to drive continuous improvement.

BONUS SKILLS WE PREFER

§ Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred; LEAN training is a plus.

§ Leadership Experience: Supervisory experience of 5 years or more and at least 2 years of experience in international shipping is preferred.

§ Work Experience: Proven track record (5+ years preferred) in managing parts fulfillment departments, negotiating shipping rates, and cultivating strong vendor relationships.
