Your Role

Join Atlas Copco Comptec LLC as the Aftermarket Manager where you will oversee the Aftermarket business, including parts, repairs, upgrades, and service of Atlas Copco Comptec compression products, both profitably and meeting customer expectations. You will also guide a diverse team of engineers, specialists, and service technicians to partner with our customers and provide services to help achieve their operational objectives. As part of the management team, you will report to the General Manager. This is a hybrid position located in Voorheesville, NY.

Aftermarket Business

  • You will create operational excellence by fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all groups, teams, and individuals, emphasizing delivery, speed to meet customer needs, and process efficiency to achieve sustainable and profitable results.

  • You will manage the Aftermarket Department to meet or surpass established annual targets.

  • You will develop Product Master Specifications for new aftermarket products, aiming for growth while minimizing the CO2 footprint.

  • You will support regional service centers in developing Aftermarket business for Atlas Copco equipment/products, including monitoring quotes, tracking customer service ratios, and providing assistance to improve business development efforts.

  • You will establish policies, pricing, and rates for service, parts, and repairs aligned with the Aftermarket strategy.

  • You will handle negotiations to resolve customer claims effectively.

  • You will collaborate with teams to address customers' technical issues.

  • You will manage and rectify quality escapes internally to ensure sustained customer satisfaction and implement long-term solutions.

Management

  • You will foster a culture of safety first throughout the organization, ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations, rules, and OSHA requirements.

  • You will take charge of employee development initiatives, concentrating on enhancing skills and fostering competency growth.

  • You will demonstrate emotional intelligence to foster collaboration, resolve disputes, motivate teams, and solve problems.

  • You will facilitate open and effective communication, engaging in feedback exchanges while advocating for diversity within the department.

  • You will identify and communicate technical and business risks to the General Manager, proposing actionable strategies to mitigate or eliminate these risks.

  • You will provide support and attendance at Company Review Meetings.

  • You will exhibit proficiency in identifying areas for process enhancement, designing necessary changes, and implementing them.

  • You will ensure adherence to ISO-9001, 14001, 45001, 50001 programs.

  • You will help shape our direction, driving vision and strategy within your team.

  • You will uphold and ensure comprehension and compliance with "The Way We Do Things" and the "Code of Conduct."

Divisional Support

  • You will offer training and technical assistance to Aftermarket regions.

  • You will collaborate with the global Aftermarket team and work with the VP Aftermarket for the Division.

  • You will identify market needs and trends to guide the Divisional Aftermarket strategy for turbomachinery.

Physical Requirements:

  • You can travel nationally or internationally for business meetings, fieldwork, and training.

  • You are physically able to reach, bend, and lift 10-pound items.

  • The salary range for this position is $145,000 - $180,000.00 annually.
