After School Program Director - Middle School

The Brisbane School District is seeking a classified staff member for its new after-school teen program at Lipman Middle School. The objective of the program is to

• • create a supportive place for teens to engage in healthy, enriching activities beyond the school day;
• • provide increased supervision for teens and pre-teens during late afternoon/early evening hours;
• • improve academic achievement and emotional well-being of our students;
• • provide access to enrichment opportunities that many of our students may not otherwise receive.

The After-School Assistant Progrqam Director will work from 3pm to 5pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and from 2pm to 4pm on Wednesdays.

The main responsibility of the After-School Assistant Program Director will be to work with students as well as assuming the additional duties of planning the after-school program schedule, managing student sign-ups, communicating with staff, students and families, coordinating with enrichment organizations and volunteers, and managing the day-to-day functions of the program.
