OfficeTeam has a new and exciting opportunity in the Pittsburgh area! Our client is looking for a part-time temporary After School Educator to assist their program from October to April. This After School Educator must be passionate about education and empowering children. The After School Educator will be responsible for managing a class of 15-18 students and setting clear expectations of lessons while building a positive rapport with their students. The After School Educator must be willing to travel to assigned school locations throughout the work week. This position will have various requirements including a desire to work with children grades 4- 8, engage and teach students using provided materials and curriculum, be available to work between the hours of 2:00-5:30pm, attend two mandatory meetings once a month, pass required clearances, and have reliable transportation to travel to and from assigned school locations. You should have strong analytical skills, excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills, and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
