The Encinitas School District is looking for individuals interested in assisting with the After School Choir Program. The Choir Program is being offered at each of our nine (9) schools . These openings are at Capri and Park Dale Lane Elementary Schools.

Duties include: assisting the Choir Lead with the organization of rehearsals, performances, and administrative tasks; helping to create an engaging, safe, and inclusive learning environment, and motivating students to develop an interest in and an appreciation of the art of music. Please see Job Description attached. Salary: $550 stipend per Session (Fall and Spring) - 1 hour practice per week plus training meetings and performances Length of Work Year:

There are two (2) sessions per year: Fall Session: Sept. 9 2024 - Dec. 13, 2024 (12 weeks) *training meeting Aug. 23 *training meeting Nov. 1 Spring Session:

Jan 20, 2025 - June 16, 2025 (15 weeks) *training meeting Jan. 10 *training meeting April 11 Schedule: 1 hour practice per week (2:30 - 3:30pm). Day of practice will vary by school site Performance: One performance per session. Up to 1 hour for the performance, up to 1 hour prep, and up to 3 hours rehearsals.

Day and time of performance to be determined and will likely take place in the evening during the week. Assemblies: Possible monthly school assemblies, dependent on school site and schedule availability. Each assembly will be up to 1 hour.

Successful candidates will be required to pass fingerprint background check, physical and drug screen and provide negative Tuberculin Skin Test result prior to working in Encinitas Union School District. Fingerprinting and TB test at applicant's expense. Physical/drug screen paid by EUSD.
