Job Summary:

Akima Facilities Operations, is looking for a AFSPECWAR Battlefield Airman Management System (BAR3) Support professional to work in the 720th STG at Hurlburt Field, FL. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

• Manages overall BAR3 program support in execution, oversight, and distribution of TACP/ AFSPECWAR units' equipment in coordination with the BAR3 Program Office, inventory control point support with the Naval Surface Warfare Center and software update/review and support.

• Provides 720th STG AFSPECWAR mission area management and liaise with HAF, other MAJCOMs, and NGB inventory control point and stock levels within the BAR3 program.

• Maintains inventory of individual equipment stock levels with quarterly procurement through DLA, GSA, and BA contracting.

• Coordinates required MIPR and OBAN transfers for accepted DLA, GSA, and contracting orders with the 720th STG Resource Advisor.

• Manages individual equipment templates to include conducting semi-annual reviews and the development of new templates.

• Research proposed new equipment items for procurement availability, develop appropriation procedures for new and existing templated items and resolve any equipment delivery issues.

• Synchronizes yearly requirements /acquisition roadmap across the Future Years Defense Program (FYDP) and develop Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submission with 720th STG AFSPECWAR Program Element Monitory (PEM).

• Manages user evaluations to include reports of vendor provided equipment.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have an Active Secret Clearance

• 5 years of experience working with the BAR3 program (may include time as a customer).

• 2 years of staff experience at the NAF, MAJCOM, or HAF level.

• 5 years of experience and knowledge of equipment procurement procedures and USAF logistics/supply procedure including an entry/cursory level knowledge of contracting operations.
