Responsibilities/Qualification

The AFSOC Current Ops/Scheduler/Controller/Unit Deployment Manager/Training Manager will:

  • Provide continuity and assist with range/airspace scheduling, flying mission tracking, scheduling, and related training support as designated by the assigned squadron.

  • Assist squadron leadership on daily operations within the current operations unit to include flying schedules and de-confliction of aircrew currencies, qualifications, upgrades and training rides [includes Aerial Refueling, Aerial gunnery ranges and any airspace required for the execution of the scheduled flying line].

  • Assist in forecasting, developing, and coordinating with various internal and external agencies the execution of the 1 SOG flying and ground range schedule.

  • The contractor will be proficient in the utilization of Center Scheduling Enterprise.

  • Maintain training and evaluation records at the squadron and group levels.

  • Adjacent duties, as assigned

  • Extensive experience with all facets of Microsoft Office (predominantly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

  • Experienced in current AF standard scheduling software suites, like Patriot Excalibur.

  • Assist and make recommendations to Government officials based on functional duty expertise.

  • Track and monitor suspense systems, screen incoming correspondence (oral or written), review written correspondence for correct classification markings, and ensure decisions and directives are properly disseminated to Government officials.

  • Current SECRET clearance is required.

Acts as a member of an 10 person team and provides interface, communication and coordination with internal and external customers and potential customers on matters pertaining to training initiatives and goals to include, but not limited to, ISR Tactical Employment and ISR Processing Exploitation and Dissemination (PED) programs. Participates as a team member on ISR OPs training contract activities and insures that customer and company requirements are met throughout the life of the projects. Essential Job Functions: * Assists in the stand-up and execution of ISR training programs to include the creation of course curriculum, syllabus, POIs, training and evaluations metrics, scenarios and simulation scripting * Provides training and instruction on multiple blocks of instruction * Creates and conducts instruction tailored to meet customer's ISR operation needs--able to travel to other CONUS and OCONUS locations * Participates in clear communication practices and cooperation among other team members * Ensures effective and efficient use of personnel, facilities, equipment and materials. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: * Strong Microsoft Office Suite proficiency particularly with Excel, PowerPoint and Word. * Formal Classroom instruction Experience working with military and government agencies * Subject Matter Expert in ISR PED and Tactical ISR Employment * Experience creating and delivering formal programs of instruction, courseware, course syllabus, training objectives and managing training records * SME in PCPAD, F3EA and/or TCPED * Has and able to build a strong network of ISR Ops contacts and potential business development customers * Great interpersonal skills * Effective communicator * Works well independently or as part of a group * Good writing skills * Degree of judgment and multi-tasking associated with performing job duties * Excellent Database/Records Management capability * Contact with the customer/provide customer support (may be internal or external customer) * Ability to obtain and maintain a SOF PED FMV Qualification     * Experience training ISR tactical employment and PED in formalized classroom environments, former ISR Tactical Controller experience, and experience conducting SOF or Joint PED is desired. Desired: * Experience working in support of a SOF environment * Experience in a deployed environment Education: * Must have an Associate's degree as well as proof of completion of any branch of service Basic Instructor Course and Intelligence School.
