Support Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) A2, specifically A2A as a Human Domain Socio-Cultural Intelligence Analyst.
Essential Job Functions:
Must be able to work directly with customers and team members to research, evaluate, analyze, fuse, and interpret socio-cultural (anthropological, ethnographic, social, political, and economic data) reporting from multiple sources to produce current and finished intelligence products on a specific country or regions of interest.
Assist in the preparation of socio-cultural papers and briefings to customers.
Serve as a subject matter expert for socio-cultural intelligence at the individual-level, small group-level, and organizational-levels by conducting analysis and liaising with recognized experts in academia and DoD.
Leverage cultural subject expertise, geospatial technology, all-source intelligence analytical skills, social scientific concepts/theories/methods, and social network analytical concepts to analyze the socio-cultural dynamics of given areas in a geospatial context or in written products.
Focus areas of research include, but are not limited to; aspects of tribalism, religion, ethnicity, inter-group conflict, group behavior, gender roles, language, social stratification, physical manifestations of culture; land-use coverage, etc.
Integrate social scientific theories regarding culture with a focus on their geospatial aspects from sociology, psychology, criminology, anthropology.
Fuse research and develop products that provide customers with initial frameworks that allow them to begin to understand the manner in which culture operates in individuals as well as in larger sociocultural groups.
8 years' experience with a Master's Degree / 9 years' experience with a Bachelor's Degree / 10 years' experience with an Associate's Degree
