Affordable Living for the Aging - VISTA Leader

Affordable Living for the Aging (ALA) has been in operation for 45 years and supports the Los Angeles community with permanent supportive housing programs and case management support for healthcare and housing. ALA launched its VISTA program in 2023 to assist in building capacity in many areas of the organization.

We have assembled a wonderful team spanning programs and operations. We seek a VISTA leader with leadership and supervisory experience to join ALA as part of the senior leadership team (CEO, CFO, CDO, and Program Directors). This a great opportunity to grow well-rounded experience in non-profit management and cross-functional communciadtion. The role will be responsible for daily supervision of the VISTA team, managing weekly meetings, and ensuring projects and deliverables are tracking towards deadlines. The VISTA Supervisor will report to the Chief Development Officer and provide all contractually required documentation to AmeriCorps as needed (progress reports, bi-weekly sponsor verifications, and other requested documentation). Member Duties : The AmeriCorps VISTA Leader will: 1) Supervise 9 members of the VISTA team, who will report to the VISTA leader. 2) Manage weekly meetings to review Work in Progress ("WIP") reports 3) Represent the VISTA team in Senior Leadership Meetings 4) Present to Board Leadership 4x a year 5) Lead VISTA Team projects including Annual Surveys, Strategic Planning, Year-End report
