What will I be doing?

As an Esthetician, you will be responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards.

The Esthetician is responsible for the operation and members of the spa, to include personal care services, fitness areas and outdoor recreation facilities and programs:

  • Consistently provides facial and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.

  • Performs services within the allotted timeframe.

  • Has complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products. Educate and train guests in these areas.

  • Prepares for each treatment and properly clean and restock room as required.

  • Properly cares for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.

  • Upholds the standards for sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the Spa's policies and procedures.

  • Professional and courteously handles guest questions and concerns.

  • Provides accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all guest requests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.

  • Communicates to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the Spa that require attention.

  • Actively promotes the Spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as available programs, promotions and/or discounts.

  • Possesses the ability to work without direct supervision.

  • Completes all required Company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.

  • Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • Technical/Trade school certification or equivalent in related field.

Experience

  • A minimum of six (6) months of experience in the Spa field required.

License & certifications

  • Esthetician License - must be state specific.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

  • Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes.

  • Recognizes an emergency situation and takes appropriate action.

  • Able to establish and maintain a cooperative working relation.

  • Able to use sound judgment; work independently, with minimal supervision.
