As a Front load laundry Aesthetics Subsystem Engineer you will support new product integration of both plastic injection molded and formed steel parts as well as future cost and quality projects. This will involve translating a project scope into an actionable development plan by creating a project schedule, performing concept generation, creating and executing test plans, releasing component and subsystem designs, and supporting implementation into a manufacturing process.
Development and execution of Module/components on schedule and at required performance levels
Delivers cost and quality targets
Owns engineering releases within module (components)
Develop and capture knowledge required to deliver module level excellence
Aligns current capability of architecture/supplier/manufacturing/customer solutions to meet attribute targets (Project Key Performance Indicators)
Determine which current architecture/supplier/manufacturing/customer solutions are NOT capable of meeting attribute targets with current knowledge (aka New Unique Difficult)
Module/component development according to planned milestones and project gates
3+ years experience in engineering product development from concept to design release
Self-prioritization and organization with the ability to manage multiple projects
Self-motivation and a desire to take the initiative to solve problems
Fluent in English with a great sense of urgency and capability to work under pressure for multiple tasks
Desire to learn, develop and grow in your career
Strong communications skills with a focus on detail, clarity, and consistency
Candidate shall be able to effectively work in team as well as being an individual contributor
Experience using Google Suites tools
Experience in Creo Preferred
Windchill experience is a plus
Six Sigma Black Belt is a plus
Experience in SAP is a plus
Lean Product Development, Design for Safety/Reliability, and Coat and Quality experience a plus
