Aerospace Inspector III (3147)

Identify quality problems and recommend solutions. Calibrate, validate, or maintain equipment. Write or revise standard quality control operating procedures. Evaluate analytical methods and procedures to determine how they might be improved. Perform visual inspections of finished products. Receive and inspect raw materials. Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release. Monitor testing procedures to ensure that all tests are performed according to established item specifications, standard test methods, or protocols. Supply quality control data necessary for regulatory submissions. Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms.Qualifications: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace components. Superior blue print reading skills. Excellent communication skills. Fluent in the use of precision hand tools, gages, optical comparator, and surface plate work. Experience inspecting tight tolerance, high value components. Familiar with the use of personal computers. Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates
