Our team in Moog Military Aircraft Group is looking for an Industrial Security Specialist/ACPSO to join them to provide multi-disciplined security support. In this role, you will Interpret & apply directives within DOD 5205.07 manual Vols. 1-4, ICD 705 and the NISPOM, as well as other security directives & policies. You will report to the Facility Security Officer and will have an onsite 9/80 work schedule in Torrance, CA
This position is 100% on-site. You will be required to work on-site 9/80 schedule in Torrance, CA.
To be considered for the Industrial Security Specialist role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years or more of Aerospace Industrial Security work experience. In lieu of a degree; 10 years or more of directly experience with DOD 5205.07 manual Vols. 1-4 and the NISPOM, as well as other security directives and policies are required.
This position requires access to United States export-controlled information
This position requires an active (in scope) U.S. Secret Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship Required
Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs.
As an Industrial Security Specialist, you will…
Provide on-site program security support including, but not limited to: physical security, visitor mgmt., document control, classification management & markings, risk identification/mitigation, personnel security, security investigations, badging, compliance assessment reviews and assist with self-inspections to ensure compliance with government, customer, and company regulations/requirements, as directed by the CPSO.
Protect government, intellectual, export, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosure through the implementation of company and program operational security programs, security education, standard practices procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government, customer and company regulations/requirements.
Identify security deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
Proactively communicate status and information to management, internal and external customers both verbally & through written communication.
Conduct security awareness trainings (i.e., develop & deliver briefings, bulletins and visual reminders)
Assist less experienced personnel with internal security controls and administrative procedures.
Create and maintain files and databases in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, SubVersion, etc.
Conduct interviews, prepare customer submittals, and schedule briefings to assist personnel in obtaining/maintaining program access.
Support ISSM efforts to implement information system security policies and procedures.
Maintain organization, make effective decisions, & deliver high quality, detail-oriented work on-time in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrate sound judgment, trustworthiness, and maintain high moral & ethical standards.
Must complete assigned training and certifications in applicable DoD Industrial Security programs and policies within 6 months of offer.

Salary Range:
The base pay range for this opportunity is $96,000 - $130,000 per year
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, 401K plan with enhanced matching program, and many region-specific benefits.
