Eaton's IS AER HQ division is currently seeking an Aerospace Aftermarket Sales Manager - Central Region. This is a remote based position; all candidates must currently reside within the states of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan or Ohio. This position will have expected travel of upwards to 50%.

The Aftermarket Sales Manager will be responsible for aftermarket sales growth for Eaton Aerospace products and services in assigned Region. This role will conduct sales activities to achieve performance goals in accordance with marketing and sales plans, build close relationships at Eaton sites and with key customers to enhance sales parts and repairs volume, and be responsible to profitably grow Eaton business in the Region with multi-product and multi-site proposals.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $120375.0 - $176550.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:

  • Meet aftermarket intake goals, activities and strategies for assigned territory in line with corporate intake goals and strategic plan.

  • Develop very large proposals across multiple products and sites including cost per flight hour arrangements, present the offering and negotiate a contract.

  • Perform competitive analysis, develop competitive positioning papers and matrices, formulate responses to competitive threats and develop new initiatives to grow aftermarket intake and sales.

  • Call on key accounts to increase intake and develop deep customer interface and relationship.

  • Showcase strong financial acumen and ability to understand financial models.

  • Execute long term strategic plan for the aftermarket in assigned Region.

  • Manage customer relationships while continuously improving Eaton's reputation.

  • Maintain knowledge of commercial aftermarket, aerospace products and how they are used in customer applications.

  • Manage customer intake and sales volumes with respect to the aftermarket business in assigned territory.

  • Function as company spokesperson at tradeshows, customer visits and media events.

  • Identify intake and sales gap across hundreds of part numbers and understand possible channel shifts in a timely fashion.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum of five (5) years Aerospace sales/customer support experience or Airline purchasing experience.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.

  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that reside within Illinois, Indiana, Michigan or Ohio will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with various channel partners to maximize orders and sales to airline customers.

  • Knowledge of the USA Airline market and customer base.

  • Experience with airline maintenance or services functions.

Skills:

  • In depth knowledge of the aerospace market and specifically the aftermarket business and the influences that affect this business segment.

  • Ability to interact positively and effectively with personalities at the business unit, senior Eaton management and customers at all levels.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Proven ability to multi-task and handle several high priority projects concurrently while meeting tight deadlines.

  • Results oriented, with excellent influence skills and proven ability to manage cross-functional teams.
