Job Description:

Researches, plans, designs and develops mechanical products and systems. Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and structural assemblies.

Participate in issue resolution, develop solutions to technical problems of varying complexity while assuring sound technical content and timely closure. Develop, review and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, manufacturing processes, and technical analyses necessary to support interceptor development and manufacturing activities.

This position is with the F-22 Airframe and F-16/F-22 Systems Installation team designing in CATIA V4/5. The candidate will release modernization engineering for F-22 and/or modernization and production engineering for F-16 aircraft

Basic Qualifications

Must be a US Citizen, this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.

This position is for an Aeronautical Engineer Sr, with the primary task of becoming a sub-lead in finite element analysis on the F-16 and F-22 aircraft. The successful candidate will provide structural analysis and certification support in engineering disciplines that include Airframe and Systems Stress analysis and Finite Element modeling.
