Who we're looking for:

  • The Technical Architect is responsible for mentoring a team of software developers, leading technical client engagements, applying methodology and process to projects, and establishing guidelines to ensure quality execution of projects. The Technical Architect also plays an integral role in executing ICF Next's technical strategy and working with the internal technology team to create competitive, digital solutions that fit within ICF Next's culture of innovation.

  • You must have a passion for technology, be collaborative, and capable of commanding the immediate attention and respect of team members. Strong communications, strategy and problem-solving skills are a must, as well as a passion for experimenting with new and emerging technologies.

What you'll get to do:

  • Drive innovative technology offerings for new and existing clients by articulating cutting-edge, business smart solutions

  • Work with the internal team to define and architect these technology solutions

  • Document and review solutions with team members, and oversee end-to-end implementation of solutions to ensure quality and adherence to designs

  • Develop and implement technology solutions with appropriate software design methodology to enable multiple team members to work in parallel, or to enable handoff of project deliverables

  • Conduct code reviews, establish code management processes and participate in deployments to ensure flawless execution on projects

  • Partner with project management and business development teams to resource scope and estimate new client engagements.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • 10+ years of software development experience with strong technical leadership ability

  • 5+ years of design, development, and architecture experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

  • 3+ years of experience managing development teams

  • Proven ability to define conceptual technology solutions and articulate the value of technology to drive creative marketing platforms and present technology solutions to both technical and non-technical clients.

  • Proven ability to methodically estimate technology execution scope of work in terms of budget and resources

  • Proven ability to leverage existing technology tools plus research and apply new and experimental technologies to achieve business goals

  • Proven experience with focus on enterprise level security, availability, flexibility, scalability, infrastructure configuration and change management

  • Experience working with

Web Content Management (WCM) products

  • Good business analysis/design skills with architecture and implementation experience.

  • Experience visualizing enterprise architectures through conceptual and architectural documentation

  • Proven ability to engage internal and external audiences through charismatic presentation

  • Ability to work within various internal groups to drive technology change

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, management information systems, mathematics or equivalent.

TA resources are experienced technical subject matter experts with a good overall knowledge of Marketing Cloud and how to best leverage it to provide maximum business value, including integrating MC with Salesforce platforms and other data sources. TA’s will have expert knowledge of specific domains in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud applications and tools and must be able to consult with clients on these.</p><p>The TA will be working in a project team on client facing engagements. Typically on the larger projects the TA will work alongside a Solution Architect (SA) to assist and validate the solution in specific technical areas as well as the overall solution. On smaller engagements it's possible that an SA isn't required and the TA will work alone (with a Project Manager) taking on a hybrid role. The TA must therefore be comfortable in taking on the role as technical lead and therefore possess good consultancy skills or aspire to this.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul> <li>Validate Analyze the client problems and come up with the right technical design and solution that should be based on the best practices</li> <li>Ability to build a, best practice, solution based on client requirements</li> <li>Clearly articulate and document solutions</li> <li>Ability to scope, define and manage work packages. The TA will potentially be implementing work packages or managing work packages to be built by other team members or teams.</li> <li>Provide technical consultation on Salesforce Market Cloud tool set and solutions</li> <li>Develop specialties in Salesforce Marketing Cloud data management, scripting languages, API, and/or integrationsMust possess the knowledge and experience of Marketing Cloud Email Studio (including Sender Authentication Package), Mobile Studio, Journey Builder and Social Studio</li> <li>Execute advanced configuration/development activities per assigned work orders</li> <li>Serve as a technical liaison to product teams to support custom and/or atypical initiatives</li> <li>Conduct solutions testing and validation</li> <li>Support documentation process by providing applicable artifacts (code samples, screenshots, etc.)</li> <li>Travel to client sites for onsite discovery and solution presentations.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Proficient with HTML, XML, and JavaScript</li> <li>Proficient developing SQL and experience with an RDBMS such as MS SQL Server (preferable), MySQL or Oracle.</li> <li>Experience working with APIs - preferably SOAP and REST-based APIs</li> <li>Experience with server-side web development design languages, scripting tools, and protocols such as HTTP, CSS, XSLT, AJAX, JQuery, Java</li> <li>Experience working with 1 or more modern integrated development environments (i.e. MS Visual Studio, NetBeans, Eclipse or others)</li> <li>Experience working with visualization software applications such as MS Visio</li> <li>Good level of documentation.
