Job Description:

The AEC - Ophthalmic Assistant will be responsible for assisting ophthalmologists in providing eye care services to patients. The assistant will perform various tasks such as taking patient histories, performing diagnostic tests, and preparing patients for surgery. The assistant will also be responsible for maintaining equipment and supplies, as well as ensuring that the clinic is clean and organized.

Responsibilities:

• Assist ophthalmologists in providing eye care services to patients

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an ophthalmic assistant training program
• Experience working in an ophthalmology clinic
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
