Crowe's Valuation Services ("VS") group assists clients in connection with business combinations, mergers and acquisitions, transaction structuring, tax planning, financial reporting, structured financing, litigation support, complex security testing, bankruptcy, solvency, outsourced corporate development services and asset value maximization. Our team approach to valuations combines the knowledge of our industry-focused professionals with the financial expertise of our valuation team members. Assist with preparation of client proposals, data requests, and engagement letters
Perform industry research, marketing activities, article research, data aggregation/analysis
Assist with performing market based valuation methodologies guideline public company and guideline private transaction searches
Assist with modeling and income based methodologies discounted cash flow analyses, calculating discount rates (i.e. weighted average cost of capital), etc.
Work with the senior management team members on client valuation issues in financial reporting, tax, and consultative settings
Interact with all levels of VS practice personnel, client personnel and management
Applicants should meet the following qualifications:
Outstanding academic performance in one of following preferred majors or similar background:
Strong academic credentials (Minimum GPA of 3.0)
Completion of introductory courses in finance, accounting and/or economics, valuation coursework a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Demonstrate leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with professionals of all levels
Transportation may be required to travel to client sites
Strong work ethic, self-starting motivation, and availability to work long-hours as client demands dictate
