Develop & build advisory business on Cetera's platforms through relationship building & advisory business consulting with a pipeline of advisors without advisory business experience through a goto-market strategy of attraction & engagement developed & implemented for the assigned Division.
The successful Divisional Sales Development Consultant will drive the growth of assets under management, net new assets, and growth in the advisor headcount on Cetera's advisory platforms, meeting or exceeding territory goals.
What you will do:
Grow the number of "New to Advisory Business" advisors within the Division
Actively manage a pipeline of advisors with no advisory business experience
Collaborate with the Divisional Leader to develop a go-to-market strategy to attract the ideal profile of advisors
Responsible for allocating time at 60% consulting via phone and 40% in the field
Responsible for providing advisory consultative expertise & partnership to advisors with regards to get started in the advisory business space
What you will have:
5+ years of Brokerage Sales experience
Excellent telephone, written and verbal communication skills
Wholesaling experience that includes consulting on and supporting fee-based advisory platforms
Superior listening and client-profiling skills that enable the discernment of motivations, while arriving at a mutually beneficial outcome
Highly motivated, strategic, self-driven and results oriented, yet capable of working in a collaborative manner across the organization
Strong "generalist" understanding of the investment industry combined with more detailed knowledge of the RIA fee-based/advisory business
FINRA series 7 & series 66 or 65/63 combo
What is nice to have:
Wholesaling Model building skills
Experience and proficiency in advisory/wealth management platforms (Envestnet; My Advice Architect)
Travel Requirements: ~40%
