Work you'll do

As a Project Delivery Specialist in the A&RT group you will:

  • Support Implementation and Operations Management best practices while taking ownership of tasks and/or project workstreams and guiding more junior professionals

  • Support and/or lead workstreams on engagements related but not limited to Operations & Maintenance, Helpdesk Operations, Software and Application Development and Maintenance, Financial Operations, and Project and Acquisition Management

  • Perform analysis and diagnosis of client issues

  • Contribute to deliverables and review the work of others for quality and accuracy

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the client environment and overall project scope

  • Typically has 5 or more years of consulting and/or industry experience

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to manage small engagements or work streams and multiple team members with confidence

  • Professional oral and written communication skills

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgement

  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role


  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience

  • Bachelor's Degree

VIEW JOBS 1/10/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-10T00:00 Role and Responsibility: * Define and manage Claims report requirements * Develop complex automated reporting products that meet the information needs of the Clams department * Mine data out of FACETS in order to identify trends throughout the Claims department * Perform analysis of all claims data in order to provide decision support to Claims management team * Identify and quantify data issues within Claims Operations and assist in the development of plans to resolve data issues * Define and develop regular data management processes and ad hoc user requests * Define and develop the Claims reports and ensure Claims data submitted to regulatory agencies is accurate and timely * Design and develop Claims testing and techniques for Claims reporting validation * Develop standard reports and accommodate ad hoc report requests from management * Generate graphics that effectively describe, explore and summarize information for communication to appropriate parties * Incorporate critical thinking skills and judgment in the process to determine best course of action for each inquiry/problem * Investigation of claims data that shows a pattern or indicates a significant variation from expected * Represents the Claims department in project meetings and other meetings that require subject matter knowledge and input * Work with subject matter experts to develop business rules that support data modeling and dashboard creation * Perform any other job related instructions as requested Requirements Education / Experience: * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required * Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in data analysis is required * Minimum of five (5) years programming experience or equivalent education required * Minimum of three (3) years claims experience required * Training in statistical process control methodology preferred * Healthcare delivery and/or payer experience preferred * Experience in data mapping preferred Required Competencies / Knowledge / Skills: * Advanced computer and programming skills * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access * Proven understanding of database relationships * Graphic development/presentation skills strongly preferred * SSRS knowledge preferred * Statistical skills preferred * Critical listening and thinking skills * Decision making/problem solving skills * Communication skills both written and verbal * Ability to work independently and within a team environment * Knowledge of managed care preferred * Knowledge of healthcare data coding such as CPT-4, HCPCS, ICD-9, ICD-10, DRG and Revenue Codes preferred * SAS experience preferred * Data analysis and trending skills * Demonstrated understanding of claims operations specifically related to managed care preferred * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Strong interpersonal skills and high level of professionalism * Effective problem solving skills with attention to detail * Ability to work independently and within a team environment Licensure / Certification: * None Working Conditions: * General work environment; may be required to sit/stand for long periods of time Apply On-lineSend This Job to a Friend Copyright © Ultimate Software Caresource Dayton OH
