Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Talent Delivery, the Advisor is a talent acquisition professional who will provide recruitment support and expertise within the organization. This role is responsible for the delivery of the recruitment strategy and follow-through of attracting a best-in-class and highly-motivated work force.

Based in Loveland, Colorado this position will provide flexible recruitment support and will also participate in supporting the greater Talent Attraction & Sourcing Centre of Excellence team across North America, as required. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated professional to work with a first-class organization in a fast-paced recruiting environment. This is a temporary role for six months.

Key Tasks:

  • Work alongside senior recruitment professionals, actively supporting execution of business priorities by efficiently delivering top talent to the business

  • Collaborate with HR professionals and internal HR Centers of Excellence to create an exceptional and positive recruitment experience for all stakeholders (hiring leaders, candidates, colleagues)

  • Build a solid understanding of the various business units within the organization to assist with delivery of hourly and salaried talent, as needed, to achieve business priorities

  • Provide support to various stakeholders on the hiring process to ensure that the right talent is selected for the right role at the right time

  • Assist recruitment team and leaders with on-time, quality candidate reviews and activities

  • Flawlessly deliver both segmented and full cycle recruitment to the business, including job postings, helping to develop selection criteria, basic sourcing, pre-screening, short-listing, interviewing, selection, preparing offer letters, and ensuring pre-employment checks are completed in a timely manner

  • Maintain applicant tracking system according to Talent Attraction & Sourcing Center of Excellence guidelines and processes

  • Greet and direct candidates of all levels for face to face interviews

  • Create an exceptional candidate-centric experience with ongoing follow-up and communication throughout the hiring process

  • Set up and coordination of video interviews/prescreening

  • Participation in the job offer preparation and processes for hourly and salaried hires per the Nutrien recruitment processes

  • Identify and participate in continuous improvement activities

  • Participation at internal and external career and campus events

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to listen effectively

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task, deal with high volume recruiting, and work effectively under pressure

  • High degree of customer service both on the phone and in-person

  • Demonstration of a "can-do" attitude and a willingness to learn

  • Demonstrated ability to work closely and effectively in a team environment working toward common goals and sharing accountability

  • Proactive and highly results oriented

Qualifications:

  • College degree or diploma in Business, Agriculture or related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

  • A minimum of 2+ years' experience in a client facing/customer service role

  • A minimum of 2+ years' experience supporting end to end recruitment

  • Intermediate to excellent Excel skills

  • Technically savvy with the use of social media for the purposes of recruitment

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and demonstrated expertise in consistently following procedures preferred

  • Agency recruitment experience preferred

  • Exposure to military recruiting is beneficial

  • Experience in campus recruitment is beneficial
