Job Summary
Manage the WebEx Drop-In Advising Sessions as the host of the meeting. Ability to warmly greet students and create breakout sessions for advisors and students to meet.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to troubleshoot connection issues with WebEx and help students connect using their computers/smart phones so that they can meet with an academic advisor through breakout sessions.
Ability to create breakout sessions in WebEx and teach students how to navigate getting into the breakout sessions.
Train others to host/assist in Webex Advising sessions.
Provide exceptional customer service to students/parents.
Email links to students who are having difficulty joining the session or are not registered.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Associates Degree preferred.
Ability to work with WebEx Training and host meetings preferred.
Ability to create breakout sessions in WebEx and teach students how to navigate getting into the breakout sessions preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills together with a strong teamwork commitment are required.
Must be able to pay conscientious attention to detail and handle multiple priorities.
Knowledge of and Microsoft Office required; Banner and DegreeWorks knowledge preferred.
Office experience required.
Must be able to maintain the strictest confidentiality of information
