Do you have digital advice experience?

Help people live their best lives by providing investment advisory related service for our Digital Advice consumers! The Advice and Planning Consultant is a professional focused on delivering relationship-based, ongoing advice and financial planning services to help customers meet their financial goals. Assist customers with moderately complex financial needs in a practice-based role.

Additional details may include:

  • Build long-term, trusting relationships with customers of our fee-based solutions by bringing them peace of mind as you guide them through retirement planning and broader wealth management strategies. This involves providing investment direction, helping customers prioritize their goals and objectives, as well as retaining and deepening the customer relationship with Principal. Proactive engagement with customers who have moderately complex financial goals/needs enrolled in a fee-based product. Educate customers at multiple levels: creating awareness of the technology channels available to them, sharing pertinent market updates and commentary, and making the complexities of investing simple and understandable.

  • Maintain proper documentation, compliance and risk management standards with each customer interaction. All inbound and outbound calls, after call work, accuracy of information and quality of all customer interactions, regardless of method (telephonic, chat, video and written) will be monitored regularly.

  • Perform other job-related duties and projects as needed.


Skills required:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of 8 years' experience required

  • 4+ years' experience with 3+ years in the Financial Services Industry. 2+ years of digital advisory experience is preferred.

  • Active FINRA Series 65 (and/or 66 and state registrations). Active Life/Health licenses required within 3 months of hire.

  • CFP designation is preferred.

Successful candidates will have the following:

  • Proven ability to build trust by putting the customer's interests first and doing right by customers at every turn.

  • Genuine interest in understanding client life events and translating what those events mean for a customer's goals and plans.

  • Demonstrated dedication to treating customers in an ethical, empathetic and proactive way.

  • Strength in effectively simplifying complex financial concepts while building rapport and credibility with customers.

  • Critical to possess a high degree of personal accountability plus exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong effectiveness with time management and organizational skills a must.

  • Committed to holding yourself to a high degree of integrity, building and sustaining strong trusted partnerships with leadership, peers and colleagues.

  • Must be adaptable to change and able to work independently with limited information and direction.

You are the day-to-day project coordinator for the internal team. You are helping the Associate Director "make the pizza," by supporting their efforts to project manage across disciplines to ensure everything is operating smoothly, accurately, and on deadline. You are learning to be an authority on your client's business to the agency and an authority on Initiative and the SBUs to the clients. This is the beginning of you mastering client management and also the beginning of your commercial acumen development. The Manager is responsible managing timelines, collaborating with the internal teams and following up on client requests. You work with your Client Advice leaders to "make the train go" – and ensure everything is operating smoothly, accurately and on deadline. Client Manages all necessary client and internal timelines, with no request going unnoticed. Key client contact and coordinator of all visits and external client/agency engagements Become an astute listener and learner to drive the right solutions Begins to build relationships with day to day leads on the client side, as well as with clients' partner agencies Project manages all client proposals, recommendations and points of view Ensures communication of creative needs and coordinates with creative teams on timely delivery of assets for timely campaign launch Manages and is accountable for ensuring best in class financial stewardship (PO process, media budget management, client billing, billing discrepancies) Internal Day to day project management support across the full integrated client team Attend client briefings, summarize all client needs and objectives to Client Advice senior leaders and to the integrated Strategy, Communications Design and Partnership leads Build relationships and support the needs of all discipline team members that work with your client(s) Support your Associate Director in leading key projects and internal timelines Commercial Produce tracking reports to monitor progress against financial goals / targets across Initiative and Mediabands SBU's Product tracking and reporting on all staff utilization to ensure profitability and maintenance of scope boundaries.
