TheSales Assistant (SA) is responsible driving revenue growth for the US PharmaSolutions Classifieds business. This is achieved by performing ahigh-volume of outbound dialing to generate interest and opportunities to beassigned to respective Account Executives (AE). This role will also focus onensuring data quality of known prospects in SFDC, while simultaneouslyprospecting for new clients.
MainActivities and Responsibilities:
Meetor exceed weekly and monthly sales activity goals. Help "cleanup" our CRMdatabase of 3,000 existing contacts, which would entail verifying or obtainingcontact information to make sure that it is current. Ensuring thecustomer type information is correctly input. Confirm client data isentered correctly. Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of US Pharmasolutions including the ability to articulate competitive differentiators andour value proposition.
Developsdetailed strategic sales plans with AE and Marketing to demonstrate to growrevenue within assigned accounts or territory with prospects that are currentlynon-revenue producing. Identifies and qualifies opportunities, develops apipeline of viable opportunities, and assigns the opportunities to therespective AE
Abilityto identify and communicate effectively with key contacts within a customer'sorganization. Collaborate with other Elsevier US Pharma sales team members tocreate new business opportunities; Provide input in conjunction with account teamon development of Marketing plans and programs to maximize goals. Work with the
Marketing team to identify new prospective clients from Social Media,Competitive publications, Directories and other assets that we would provide.

Education,Knowledge, Skills and Experiences required:
Bachelor'sdegree or equivalent business experience preferred
1-2years proven experience of lead generation, cold calling, inside sales or salessupport experience, preferably in a B2B environment
