Sell digital, sports, and cable television advertising services by recruiting new clients, and providing superior customer service to retain existing clients.


  • Prospect, identify opportunities and create customized solutions from the selection of Midco Advertising Products for new and existing business clients.

  • Achieve and exceed defined sales goals (monthly, quarterly, annual, etc.)

  • Manage an assigned portfolio of leads, prospects, opportunities and clients.

  • Adjust messaging and approach to suit the audience.

  • Seek out and recruit new clients.

  • Build strong relationships based on trust and mutual respect with potential as well as existing customers, within your department, and within the community.

  • Engage in pipeline management daily.

  • Maintain current and accurate documentation for sales database, reporting, and forecasting.

  • Accurately forecast book of business on a regular basis.

  • Apply thorough business analysis to cases and collaborate with others involved to find solutions.

  • Develop and deliver professional sales presentations.

  • Prepare accurate customer estimates and contracts.

  • Monitor and strive for KPIs.

  • Design advertising campaigns and assist with production when needed.

  • Think and act in ways that put Midco customers first giving them seamless media mix options and make them promoters of Midco products and services.

  • Engage in training resources, including internal and external opportunities.

  • Represent Midco at community events as needed.

  • Be willing and able to travel in accordance with Midco's "Use of Vehicle for Company Business" policy.

  • Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.

  • Adhere to Midco's privacy guidelines to ensure each customer's privacy.

  • Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.


  • Function as an effective team member while supporting the efforts and strategies, initiatives and projects of other departments.

  • High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  • Previous sales experience preferred.


  • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee may occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 30 lbs.

  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.

  • Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.

  • In-person visits to a customer's place of business are normal in the performance of this job. Specific abilities required include accessing a customer's place of business by stairs or elevator, operating doors or other entrances, navigating hallways and buildings, etc., and adapting successfully to a constantly changing environment.

This role will work closely with members of our Sales and IT teams to manage and streamline systems and tools, refine policies and best practices, and collaborate on enhancements to existing processes. This position is also responsible for sales activity reports and analytics, sales productivity, field support for execution of complex deals, CRM (sales process) maintenance and other sales support functions. Role & Responsibility Sales Process Development * Provide regular sales policy and process guidance and training to Sales team. * Proactively identify and recommend ways to improve Inside Sales/Sales processes with the goal of improving decision quality, reducing sales cycle time, improving scalability, and improving Account Manager efficiency. * Manage Salesforce sales process and maintenance. * Lead or support implementation of Oracle, OSS, Bobquote/CPQ, Salesforce (sales process) and other company initiatives as required. * Complete ad-hoc projects as they transpire. Sales Support & Administration * Support the end-of-month, end-of-quarter sales effort by assisting in driving all sales orders and approvals through internal processing. * Manage transfer process, implementation and tracking. * Manage commissions process and implementation. * Manage other key sales support processes as identified for Inside Sales team. * Participate in trade shows on as needed basis. * Manage and improve invoicing processes. * Direct data order entry of top tier customers' purchase orders. * Assist with quotes and orders for complex deals. Customer Success Management * Participate in, and have a hands-on approach to, complex situations or escalations and work with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve and document. * Provide customer or dealer support to include: order tracking, change order requests, customer price quotations, credit and re-bill of dealer machines to customers, notification of order correspondence, payment of commissions, customer delivery tracking for all factory orders, payment of servicing fee for all delivered factory orders, researching and application of credits and debits. Planning & Analytics * Perform ad-hoc requests, create Inside Sales team reports and dashboards in Salesforce or Oracle (OBIEE). * Act as information owner for Inside Sales-related data sets. Responsible for data maintenance and accuracy. Troubleshoot issues and see through to resolution.
