The P&O Manager will ensure the well support to the P&O Corporative team, collaborating in the implementation of strategical initiatives and acting as administrative support in the different P&O areas. Special focus on training, recruiting and internal communications.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Roles & Responsibilities
Ensure conformance of established policies and procedures
Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations
Develop, implement, maintain, and administer personnel programs at the resort
Provide support and guidance to HR staff.
Investigate employee issues and bring them to resolution.
Advise managers, supervisors, and team members regarding personnel policies, benefits information, paid time off, and retirement plans.
Become proficient in the HRIS system, help to maintain accurate records within it, and manage workflows
Actively help plan and develop employee appreciation events
Be available for team members to express concerns or share feedback while maintaining composure and confidentiality
Actively oversee escalated employee disciplinary meetings
Provide guidance to management team on the best practices regarding employee disciplinary matters
Recruit new team members through job posting platforms, social media channels, flyers, high school and college job fairs, and any other innovative methods
Identify hiring needs and oversee the hiring process including scheduling and conducting interviews, running background checks, processing I9 verifications, collecting child labor certificates when applicable, ensuring completion of onboarding, and scheduling new team member orientations
Administrative duties such as preparing and processing records such as transfers, promotions, and other personnel changes in a timely manner
Facilitate and manage summer work and travel international programs and workampers
Monitor work conditions to ensure compliance with corporate policies and legal regulations
Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions
Requirements
Education: BS/BA in business administration, human resources, another relevant field, or equivalent knowledge gained through a minimum of 3 years work experience
Languages: English
Skills:
Problem Solving/Analysis: Strong analytical skills, perceptive nature, ability to use data to answer critical questions, and ability to interpret policies and apply them in the workplace
Project Management: Understand and manage projects from concept to completion. Organize and manage competing priorities, while maintaining a steadfast commitment to detail
Executive Presence
Other: Minimal travel is associated with this role for recruitment purposes, trainings, or special team member events
Relationships
Internal: Human Resources has interactions with every department at the resort. Beyond the local team this position will collaborate frequently with the HR departments at the other Palace owned parks as well as the corporate HR team based in Pittsburgh
External: Schools, J1 Visa sponsor companies, local businesses, and possibly 3rd party administrators
Any other relevant comments: This position will report to the Park HR Director and work alongside an HR Generalist
