The Adventureland Inn Pool Bartenders will have a customer service focused attitude and a commitment to ensuring the highest standard of service to provide a positive guest experience.
We are currently looking for a:
Adventureland Inn- Pool Bartender
Roles & Responsibilities:
Roles & Responsibilities
Greets guests pleasantly as they approach the bar
Promotes house drinks and utilizes selling skills to maximize revenue when possible
Presents menus to guests and inform them of specials and promotions
Check guest identification if necessary to ensure they meet the minimum age requirement for consumption of alcoholic beverages
Operates restaurant equipment such as cash register, telephone, computer, juice machine and various other items
Takes guest orders and accurately communicates them to the kitchen
Serves food and beverages in a friendly and professional manner
Checks back frequently with guests to ensure all needs and expectations are being met
Monitors guest behavior and guest alcohol consumption to determine when alcohol service to the guest should cease
Adheres to all bar related safety training such as TIPS and IPACT
Permits customers to run tabs with proper credentials
Prepares checks using the point-of- sale computer system
Posts payments using the point-of-sale computer system
Stores and stocks fridges, ice machines, cups, straws, napkins and other service items as needed
Sanitizes and cleans service areas and bar tops as needed
Understands and applies all health department standards
Takes to-go orders and retrieves them from the kitchen when needed
Always refrains from on-the-job consumption of alcohol
Maintains professional appearance and adheres to uniform standards
Reports hygienic or maintenance issues in a timely manner
Responds to all emergency situations as needed
Cooperates with other departments to provide a positive guest experience
and banquet service
Completes additional duties as assigned by supervisors, managers, or directors
Education: There is no minimum education requirement. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Experience:
Three or more months restaurant experience preferred but not required
