Your role and responsibilities

The Advanced Technical Solutions Team Engineer provides technical support to Sales and District Offices for a complete range of NEMA motors. Apply Engineering principles and judgment in the problem solving process. Coordinate Testing when needed to support a Technical Solution response. Engage in initiatives with other internal and external Teams to improve availability and distribution of Technical Tools and Solutions. The work model for the role is: Onsite You will be mainly accountable for: • Provide technical motor data and information in all phases of the Business Cycle from Feasibility Stage to Testing, Commissioning and Field analysis. • Interact with Sales, District Offices, Manufacturing, and Customers to ensure all parties are appropriately technically informed. • Work with Product Development and R&D Engineering when needed to drive a solution. • Provide concise and professional responses to a wide range of Sales inquiries. Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering PLUS minimum 5 years Electric Motor Engineering experience

• Experience with SAP preferred

• Strong mathematics skill

• Ability to function in an environment with timelines related to Customer Commitments

• <20% travel required

• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
